BNP has taken 225 of the VGD cards, while Jamaat-e-Islami has taken 90. After learning about the card sharing, Shamima Sultana, joint coordinator of the Rajshahi district coordination committee of NCP, and some leaders and activists went to the office of UNO AKM Nur Hossain yesterday morning.

Coming out of the UNO office, Shamima Sultana said, “BNP-Jamaat have shared all the cards of Belpukur UP. The chairman was pressured to sign. So where will the common people go? Why will there be an authoritarian system even after this July coup? That is why we came to complain. Shamima Sultana told Prothom Alo that they did not go to the UNO office for their party. They received complaints that the cards were sold for money. They went to resolve it so that the real needy people get the cards.
